You're as beautiful as the day we lost you.

The new season of Destiny 2 has brought back an old location and some old weapons along with it. Everyone wants the god roll of the Austrigner. It was a monster when it was previously in the game and the player base is ecstatic to have it be obtainable again with this new season. This is not the first time Destiny 2 has brought back weapons from previous content to the current season and it hopefully won’t be the last. Let’s go over what god roll you should be trying to get on your Austringer before it gets put back into Destiny 2’s content vault.

God Rolls for the Austringer in Destiny 2

Once you manage to get your hands on an Austringer, either by using Opulent keys or doing the seasonal activity. You will be looking to get specific perks depending on if you want it to be good for PVP or PVE. If you want a more PVP-oriented roll, you will be looking to get perks like Opening Shot, Rangefinder, Outlaw, Snapshot Sights, or Rampage. You will want either Corkscrew Rifling or Arrowhead Break with Ricochet Rounds or High-Caliber Rounds.

If you want a roll that is better suited for PVE, you will still end up with the same barrel and magazine options but you will be looking for some slightly different perks. Outlaw and Rampage are still great options as well as Rangefinder to pick off those pesky sniper AI. But you may also want to accept Frenzy and Triple Tap into your list of perks to look for on the Austringer.

You could also accept Eye of Storm since healing is so accessible with the Solar rework. The best part about the re-release of Austringer is that it is included in the list of craftable and re-forgeable weapons. That means that once you have the pattern for the weapon you can put any perks you want on it and even get better versions of the perks to put on it.
