Apex Legends Mobile: How to Unlock Team Deathmatch

Here's when you can play Team Deathmatch in Apex Legends Mobile.

There are many game modes in the new Apex Legends Mobile but one of the most exciting is Team Deathmatch. Players have been asking for a Team Deathmatch mode for a long time in the main Apex Legends game. Whether you are an Apex Legends player and want to try out the new game modes or you are new to the whole thing, here is everything you need to know about Team Deathmatch in Apex Legends.

How to Unlock Team Deathmatch in Apex Legends Mobile

In order to play Team Deathmatch in Apex Legends Mobile, you’ll first need to complete the tutorial level and one Battle Royale game. Once you have done that, you’ll be free to do as you wish. You can check out the Premium Pass Plus or see how to unlock the rest of the legends. Once you’re on the main screen, click the button left of “Play” to choose your game mode. The default is Battle Royale, but you can switch it to Team Deathmatch. The problem is, you can only play Team Deathmatch after you unlock it by becoming level 5.

There are two Team Deathmatch game modes: one is with a Base Respawn and one is with a Random Respawn. The mode is a standard Team Deathmatch where you’ll need to kill the enemy team’s members a number of times to win. It is a six vs. six battle and it is bound to be intense.

Game Modes in Apex Legends Mobile

There are tons of other game modes in Apex Legends Mobile that aren’t in Apex Legends (yet, hopefully). The two that are available now are Team Deathmatch and Quick Battle. Quick Battle is a Limited Time Event in Apex Legends Mobile, meaning it won’t stay around forever. It features a smaller ring and fewer squads but keeps the rest of the Battle Royale rules. There are also Mastery Missions and Tutorial Trainings to help sharpen your skills which aren’t available in Apex Legends.

The game modes that are already a part of Apex Legends are Battle Royale, Ranked, Arenas, and Firing Range. Hopefully, more of these experimental and fun game modes make it to the big Apex Legends mode, but for now, Apex Legends only has the basics.
